2007-current: Development Manager at Spiceworks
- I manage the team that works on the core features of the community. I mentor my developers, plan releases, lead sprint meetings, and do code reviews.
- I have worked on several features in the Community, mainly using Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. These include user profiles, discussions, how-to articles, blogs, and many other user-facing features.
- I work with our community managers to create features that prevent spam and help them moderate the community.
- I work with our SEO experts to implement SEO improvements that increase our search traffic.
- With a small team, we created a responsive design that made our community mobile friendly.
2015-current: Co-founder and developer of Menagerie Development
- I worked on the frontend and UI of Pip-Pip, a chat client that integrates with the Spiceworks software. Mainly used Backbone, jQuery, and Underscore.
